Welcome to our Easy Grade Naturbility Hike

LifeTrail’s Naturbility‘s Easy Grade Hike, is situated near Perth Hills Discovery Centre, Mundaring Weir. The Bibbulmun Track, one of the world’s great long-distance hiking trails, begins in Kalamunda not far from where our hike is, and ends in Albany.
We will have a break, drink and snack which you will bring yourself at a Bibbulmun campsite.
The hike travels through easy to walk trail, tranquil beautiful forest with shade under the canopy of the forest.
LifeTrail celebrates inclusion and diversity; LifeTrail is a respected, recognised and licenced hiking operator who also guides groups of teens on 2-to-7-day teen hikes.
Didier is an experienced and highly respected NDIS Mentor for people of all ages.
WHO IS THIS HIKE FOR?
You will need to be able to walk on a well-maintained dirt trail for 5.4 km and two hours, with a good rest in the middle. The hike may have anyone of any adult age, all with the same goal as you, to enjoy a hike in the forest.
Support Worker or Independent?
It is your decision whether to be accompanied by your Support Worker or Independent. Some nerves and anxiety are normal doing something new, but independent hikers must confident enough to walk the distance and be part of a small group of people. Didier may request further information or to speak to a member of your support team.
You can come along with friends or yourself; we all soon make friends on our hikes.
YOU NEED TO BRING
- Your own transport to Perth Hills Discovery Centre
- Daypack
- One litre of water
- Snacks for the campsite break and while hiking if you choose
- A hat
- Sunscreen
- Shorts or long light comfortable pants, quick dry if you have them
- Light comfortable top
- A warm fleece
- Rain jacket if rain is forecast
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
Even on a short hike, you can learn and experience independence, self-awareness, resilience and confidence. You will be given opportunities to take self and group responsibilities suited to your goals and abilities. Our groups are encouraged to bond naturally without pressure, in their own time.
Didier continually assesses everyone’s adventure progression on the trail to assist you in achieving your goals and having the most fantastic time. You will gain from an experienced Hiking Guide and NDIS Mentor
Everyone can be a Leader; you will be encouraged to take on your leadership style, which first begins with self-leadership.

WE PROVIDE

- Small groups with a maximum of 8 participants, including Support Workers
- Twenty years of assessment and mentoring experience with people with a disability.
- Insured NDIS Provider since 2018.
- Fully licenced and insured Dept Parks & Wildlife Commercial Operator.
Hikes have been designed for beginners, even if you have never hiked. Some level of fitness and good physical health is required.
NDIS AND HOW IT WORKS
A tour and hiking can be a fantastic way for NDIS participants to achieve their goals through the beautiful benefits of the experience. LifeTrail and the NDIS empower people with disabilities to make their own choices and control over their lives by participating in activities that build confidence, independence, and social connections.
Families, Support Coordinators and LACs have seen and used LifeTrail hikes and tours as Respite; LifeTrail run hikes and tours as a tour operator.
Please be mindful of your NDIS position. LifeTrail will assist each participant as much as it is in our realm, but participants must ensure they have the required goals and funding. There is more information on our Naturbility page.

- Attend an invoiced one-to-one in-person or Teams Video hike assessment and chat
- Read and understand LifeTrail’s Naturbility Service Agreement, section Day Hike.
- Complete the LifeTrail Naturbility Participation Form
- Your booking is confirmed when, your funding is confirmed
- Following the hike LifeTrail will email the Plan Manager the invoice

The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long-distance walk trails. LifeTrail has always since its conception donated 3% of every booking to the Bibbulmun Track Foundation to assist in trail care and projects. The Bibbulmun Track Foundation comprises approximately 300 volunteers who maintain the trail.
