The following reflections & reviews come from participants, parents and teachers, to which we are eternally grateful for their willingness to share their journey with us. Reflections reach us from post-hike Duke Of Edinburgh Award reports, Google, Facebook and direct contact. As important reviews are in a business, I have never chased them, all are 100% genuine.
Last year my son had a hike with Didier for his Duke of Ed Bronze award and now he is insisting me to book with Didier again for his Silver award as well. That much my son enjoyed Didier's professionalism and helping nature. I would highly recommend Didier.
"Didier was really helpful in filling in some holes I had in planning my Bibbulmun Track end to end. He loves hiking, understands the practical as well as internal elements that go with it, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience. He listens, and is genuinely helpful and supportive without ever straying into the know-it-all territory that sometimes comes with guides - he is down to earth and wants you to have YOUR experience, not just listen to his! Highly recommend for all kinds of people"
Xola Reviews - Ratings Responsible : 5 / 5 Safe : 5 / 5 Unique : 5 / 5 Value : 4 / 5 Review The hike was an experience, a very unique experience. There was hardship, sense of exuberance and unity which made the three days very memorable. Reaching the beautiful destinations after all the hard work feels worth it all and the free hours we got at the campsite really allowed us to embrace our surroundings, the wilderness and our fellow camp members. It was a cherishable experience, also a fun one to tick off the bucket list!
Aquinas Junior School Ignite students have thoroughly appreciated the opportunities provided for both day and overnight hikes through Didier Walks. The hikes provide a true sense of adventure, great comradery, and plant the seed for further exploration to get our kids in touch with nature which is great for the mind, body and general wellness. We are grateful for the expertise and enthusiasm that Didier offers our students.

Fantastic guide with a good knowledge of the track and caters for all fitness levels. It is obvious Didier loves what he does and that rubs off on the group. A good mix of conversation and time for quiet reflection. Didier would be great for more serious hike/track training or just a casual day walk when your schedule allows. Loved my day walk with Didier and will be back. My teenage daughter who did a three day/ 2 night hike with Didier for her Duke of Ed Bronze Award also loved it and gained a lot from her time on the Track.
I completed a solo beginners over night trail with Didier along the beautiful Murray River. It was a great introduction to overnight hiking and Didier was very friendly and easy to ask questions about hiking along the Bibbulmum and hiking in general. I now feel a lot more confident in completing some more longer hikes on my own. I would highly recommend.
Didier and Julie have helped me to realise that no matter how difficult something may seem, I can always find a way to do it. Going hiking with them has also really helped me be more outgoing and make more friends, and the incredible feeling you get when you reach the top of a difficult peak is really unmatched. All in all some of the best experiences I’ve had and I can’t wait to be able to go on another hike with them
