Our World
LifeTrail has been operating since 2017, now a Denmark WA-based service provider, specialising in professional individual NDIS and self-funded mentoring, as well as licensed hiking services.
This small local business is committed to fostering independence, resilience, and self-confidence through its partnerships and affiliations with respected bodies such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the Bibbulmun Track Foundation, and DBCA Parks and Wildlife.

What does "Best Version Of Ourselves" mean?
“The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else.” ― E.E. Cummings
Only with genuine authenticity do you become empowered to create and attract extraordinary experiences.
We should live a life with real passion, courage, conviction, awareness, connection, authenticity, a strong sense of self, and respect for all beings. We should celebrate the inclusion and diversity of everyone around us, amplify our strengths, and manage barriers to our goals.
Through inspiration, education, planning, and reflection., we are taking steps towards a more intentional, authentic, and empowered life together.
"It's ok to live a life that no one else understands."

Mentoring

The Mentor lives and shares the life journey they love
Life Transition ︱ Employment ︱ Youth ︱ Mental Health ︱ Autism
Mentoring is exclusively part of our disability, mental health, NDIS services.
Life is beautiful but uncertain, with ups and downs. Living more independently, starting a new job, and taking on more responsibility can be scary for anyone.
Stepping out of our comfort zone can be achieved one step at a time, building on what’s already good in our lives and our strengths.

Naturbility

The beautiful connection between nature, motion and mentoring
Day Hikes ︱ Local Nature Walks ︱ Multiday Nature Trips ︱ Multiday Hikes ︱ Teen Hikes
Naturbility is exclusively part of our disability, mental health, and NDIS mentoring services. We can work with NDIS Plan and self-managed and self-funded participants.
Step into Nature, and then you will understand everything better.
Mentored nature experiences can be beautiful tranquil day hikes within an hour from home or local nature-based walks. Multiday hikes on WA’s Bibbulmun Track and joining in with our Teen Hikes. Future Multiday Nature Trips are coming.
Personal Duke Of Edinburgh Award Adventurous Journeys may be possible.

Teen Hikes
Inclusive for all teens hiking experiences
Independance︱Resilience︱Friendships ︱ Fun︱Connection ︱Focus
In 2017, Didier brought his dream Didier Walks to life. Just as the name may have changed in 2023, LifeTrail continues to build a reputation by building relationships with families, schools, and Duke Of Ed, WA, based on trust, professionalism, and an authentic experience. An inclusive, small group, all-teens hiking adventure for all teens (14 to 18 yrs). Extraordinary multiday hikes that focus on the physical, mental and emotional benefits that last long after the hike is over and run over into your everyday life.

Duke Of Edinburgh International Award

Adventurous Journeys ︱ Multiday Hikes ︱ Supervisor ︱ Assessor ︱ NDIS
Since 2017, we have worked in partnership with families, schools, community organisations, and Duke of Ed WA to offer extraordinary multiday Adventurous Journeys as part of our Teen Hike program.

“Hiking with Didier in nature takes me away from the city’s noise and, in my head, into peace, focus, flowers and fresh air. It makes me stronger.” – JR . 30 . autism, anxiety.

Meet Didier
Didier Monot
Mentor / Hiker
Didier was born in Vevey, a lakeside village in the French region of Switzerland. When he was six, his family immigrated to Australia, and he grew up in Rockingham.
The Mentor lives and shares the life journey they love by example. Further empowering their strengths and managing barriers to their goals.
Whether you are with me for mentoring or you are participating in one of our hikes, you may notice that I use an OT approach to support you. I’m there to create a safe space for you to step outside your comfort zone; only then can you grow.
You are always in control of your path. Throughout my career and personal life, my goal has been to empower others, including myself. During my lifetime, my employers, industry partners, peers, and clients have described me as passionate, dedicated, caring, determined, and able to connect with anyone at their level.
