Ancient Myth Route
Ancient Myth Guided Nature Walk — Among the Giants
A gentle, mindful journey through the Tinglebell & Glass Slipper Trails + Bibbulmun Track
Slow down, breathe deeply, and step into a forest that feels as old as time itself. This guided 7km nature-immersion walk brings together the peaceful elements of the Tinglebell Trail, Glass Slipper Trail, and a serene section of the Bibbulmun Track. This is not a fast hike. It’s a grounding experience designed to reconnect you with nature, your senses and your breath — beneath the protective canopy of ancient red tingle trees. As we walk, I’ll invite you to pause, notice, listen and feel. You’ll learn about the forest ecology, observe tiny details like moss, fungi and leaf patterns, and experience the calming effect of slow walking in nature.
A Taste of the Bibbulmun Track
The Bibbulmun Track winds for 1,000 km through Noongar Country, offering hikers a deep immersion into Western Australia’s forests, coastlines, and landscapes. On this short section, you’ll feel the spirit of the Track — its quietness, simplicity, and sense of journey — without needing to carry a pack or walk long distances. Arriving at a hiker-only Giants Campsite provides a unique window into the world of long-distance walking. A peaceful, hiker-only shelter used by walkers on multi-day journeys. It’s a simple, beautiful space: a timber shelter, seating, trees circling us like old friends, and the quiet atmosphere of a place built for rest and reflection. Here we take time for a Hikefulness moment — noticing the forest’s stillness, feeling supported by the land, and appreciating the slower simplicity of the walking life.
